This week is E3 so there’s been a lot of news about the new gaming consoles coming out with Sony’s PS4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One being the headliners. And while the PS4 has been showcasing the incredible gaming power of their new system, Microsoft seems to be taking a different approach. It seems Microsoft is putting more of an effort in making the Xbox One your one stop shop for everything you’ll need for your home entertainment hub – with a pretty big emphasis on TV.
As you can see from the viral highlight video, Microsoft is putting a lot of their cards in the TV aspect of their system. Well TV and K9 believability. And if Microsoft is right in their “online TV centric” forecast, then that’s just one more giant greasy smudge in blurring the difference between a “webisode” and a TV “episode”. Something that we at HLG are more than happy with.
